The Dope on the Pope

RATZ ON OTHER CHRISTIAN RELIGIONS: He has repeatedly condemned "religious pluralism" and relativism, the idea that other religions can hold the way to salvation, and he has been instrumental in blocking the advance of priests who support such views.
RATZ ON SEXUAL ABUSE: "I am personally convinced that the constant presence in the press of sins of Catholic priests, especially in the United States, is a planned campaign, as the percentage of these offences among priests is not higher than in other categories, and perhaps it is even lower... One comes to the conclusion that it is intentional, manipulated, that there is a desire to discredit the church," - Pope Benedict XVI
Would it be a an outlandish prediction that pedophiles and their protectors will remain? (I have a pretty good idea whom Cardinal Law voted for.) The of course, gay men will be scapegoated and purged.
He has also written about about the need to rid the Church of "filth." By "filth," could he mean gay people? I wonder?
